When it comes to having fun, we’d be hard-pressed to name a group as enthusiastic as the Mountain Home Senior Center. They always have a good time and get out and dance each time we play for them. They have a bunch of gals that know some great line dances and they perform for almost every song we play.
Needless to say, we had a fantastic time at the library playing for the Senior Dance Night. It was a great time for everybody that was there. There were chocolate candies and candles at every table. There was plenty of room for dancing (it was a good thing there was) and there was a whole lot of singing, too. What a great crowd!
And the library’s acoustics were so good! We couldn’t stop talking about how great the room sounded! It was fun to hear everyone so clearly and it was never overwhelming. The band sounded wonderful. Every instrument and every voice could be heard clearly and it sounded amazing.
I couldn’t think of a better way to spend an evening than playing a fun gig with a spectacular group of people. Every member of the band said they had a blast (except Cindy, who wasn’t able to go). We missed her, too. She’s feeling much better and I’m sure she’ll be at our next gig. She was at practice and she looked great.
Since people have been quarantined for so long, it feels good to get out and kick up your heels a little. Everyone can use some spice in their life.
