Well, we’ve never done it before, but on Saturday, we’re going to give it a try! The Mountain Home Public Library is hosting a Senior dance night from 5-7 pm on Saturday, February 12th, 2022. Don’t worry, you’ll be able to hear us. LOL.
There will be plenty of room for dancing, too. They’ve got a big room with tables and a coffee bar. And that’s where we’ll be playing. Our setlist includes favorites from the “Good Old Days” when rock and roll was something we all could enjoy!
The funny thing is, when Amy (the keyboard player) was young, she got in trouble for misbehaving in the school library (something about a dare to do a cartwheel from her friends) and she had to do some time in the office. Now, this has never sat well with Amy and she’s a little scared she may get in trouble for this one. But, she has agreed to come and be part of the show and take that risk.
Al is going to bring his famous Cajon. If you’ve never seen it before, it’s worth the trip over just for that alone. It’s basically a drum box that he sits on while he plays it. Pretty cool if you ask me. And when he shakes his foot to make the Tamborine sound, it gives Audrey the urge to scratch him behind the ear!
Speaking of Audrey, she’s got a great sound going with the Sax. When she plays her solos, we all melt. It adds so much to the sound to have a saxophone.
Cindy isn’t sure if she’ll make it, but we hope she can. She has put together a fantastic setlist for us.
Mike has been working hard to get the best sound he can out of his guitar. He’s got a sweet new pedal that gives him a really unique sound on his guitar. We all fell in love with it the first time we heard it.
Vern is rocking the bass. I’m sure he’ll have you up and dancing in no time with his lively grooves.
So, if you’re able to come out, we’d love to see you Saturday evening for some great music and a fun time!
